FIATA Survey on the air cargo industry readiness for ICS2 Release II and III

Dear FIATA members,

You are kindly invited to respond to a brief survey on the Import Control System 2 (ICS2) Release 2 and Release 3 multiple filing options for freight forwarders. This will allow us to get a better picture on how freight forwarders comply with the ICS2 reporting requirements, whether they make actual use of the multiple filing* option for air freight, what the remaining issues/recurring problems are and how they are preparing for ICS2 Release 3 (maritime), which enters into force for house level filers on 4 December 2024.

The survey is conducted in collaboration with CLECAT. Your aggregated feedback will be analysed jointly and reported to DG TAXUD and Member States during the Trans-European Coordination Meeting on ICS2 on 7 and 8 Feb.

*Multiple filing: A multiple filing means that an ENS is composed of two or more partial ENS filings (i.e. two or more prescribed data sets), which together form an ENS declaration.
